Overview:

Quasius Construction Inc. is an established and growing Construction Management/General Contracting firm celebrating over 130 years in business.  Quasius performs critical and complex construction and maintenance projects in Central Eastern Wisconsin, ranging from the Fox Cities to the Milwaukee metro area.

We are seeking a Project Engineer to provide support to project management, estimating, and business development to achieve successful results of each company department, by utilizing defined best practices and processes, and using thorough and professional communications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Provide support to project management team

  • Establish and maintain all project files relating to the contract records, plans, specifications, changes, schedule, and clarifications upload and/or distribute in a timely manner
  • Maintain construction data relating to projects including, but not limited to, RFI’s, RFQ’s, change orders, meeting minutes and photos
  • Manage complete Submittals process & workflow
  • Process and secure local building permit(s)
  • Website document sharing site set-up and general maintenance

2) Purchasing and Change Management

  • Subcontract and Purchase Order issuance
    • Change Order issuance

    3) Project Close-Out

    • Assemble As-Built drawings, O&M’s/close-out documents required for owner by target date established by the Project Manager
      • Digitally archive project job files and Close-Out documents

      4) Assist all team members laterally as needed & requested

      • Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects and demands
      • Possess professional verbal and written communication skills, and interact effectively at all levels within the organization
      • Project management, customer relations management, and estimating take-off software proficiency  

      Qualifications:

      1) Associates degree in Construction Management or equivalent
