Lakeshore Regional Child Advocacy Center Opens Its Doors in Sheboygan

Quasius Construction is proud to celebrate the grand opening of the Sheboygan Lakeshore Regional Child Advocacy Center (LRCAC) — a community-driven project designed to provide a safe, supportive space for children and families across Sheboygan County.

A Shared Vision for the Community

The ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together local and state leaders, including Governor Tony Evers, Mayor Ryan Sorenson, Sheriff Matt Spence, Police Chief Kurt Zempel, Sheboygan County Chamber CEO Deidre Martinez, and LRCAC Executive Director Amanda Didier.

Reflecting on the event, Amanda shared,

“To me, it speaks to the heart of Sheboygan County and what can be accomplished when we collaborate for good.”

Our Role in Bringing the Project to Life

Quasius was actively involved in site selection, planning, and fundraising for the new center. We partnered with Groth Design Group on architectural design and BSI – Building Service Inc. for interior design and furnishings. The City of Sheboygan and Uptown Social also played key roles in helping make this project a reality.

The renovation included demolition, steel stud framing, masonry restoration, and the creation of new window and door openings. Our team coordinated closely with trade partners to integrate the center’s advanced technology systems, including interview recording rooms, conference cameras and microphones, and a specialized forensic lab designed for evidence collection and secure storage.

Built for Purpose

The new facility reflects what can be achieved through partnership and purpose — creating a space that strengthens collaboration among child advocacy professionals and law enforcement while supporting children and families in times of need.

Quasius Construction is honored to have been part of this meaningful project and to see this important resource come to life for our community.
