Our Beginning

With a horse named Daisy and a foot-powered saw, George Quasius founds his own residential construction company as a carpenter-contractor. The founding Quasius was responsible for the construction of many of Sheboygan’s finer homes.

1930s

George’s sons Arthur, Raymond, and Leslie join the business, changing the name to Quasius & Sons. The company expands to light commercial and industrial construction.

1940s

Quasius becomes incorporated, changing its name to Quasius Bros., Inc. At this time, the company has grown to be a major regional commercial, residential, and industrial construction company.

1950-1960

Quasius Bros., Inc begins collaborations with Kohler Co. and the Village of Kohler, including the construction of Kohler Memorial High School & Theatre. The company also contracts a number of projects for Sheboygan manufacturing, warehousing, and office facilities and takes on the restoration of the Wade House.

As the construction market begins to change, so does Quasius. The company expands its scope to construct 40 department and discount stores for H.C. Prange Company across three Midwestern states. The company is also responsible for reconstructing Kohler’s American Club into a luxury hotel complex.

Changing with the Times

Under President Dave Quasius, Quasius Construction adds Construction Management as a natural extension to their list of services, providing more informative, collaborative, and cost-saving options for clients. Quasius Construction also embraces new technology by launching its first company website!

Matt Quasius is the President of Quasius Construction. Matt is the fourth generation in the Quasius family to serve as President of the family business and continue its reputation as one of the best construction firms in Wisconsin.

Gary Gartman

Senior Project Manager

Gary has 33 years of experience constructing commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects. Gary is equally well-versed as a construction estimator and project manager, working with all types of construction delivery systems.

Matt Noordyk

Vice President of Field Operations

Matt brings diverse field and estimating experience to the role of Field Operations, providing oversight and direction on day-to-day operations and project planning. His ability to visualize the entire construction process and identify potential constraints throughout the project help keep projects on budget once construction begins.

Chris’ intimate knowledge of the construction process comes from his over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. His diverse background in project management and estimating paired with a keen attention to detail give him the ability to generate value for our clients from pre-planning to bid solicitation and beyond.

Tom Dinolfo has 17 years of experience in Corporate Finance and proven track record managing several businesses, large and small, to achieve financial success. He is highly skilled at analyzing financial information and helping our team manage budgets. He is passionate about coaching our construction professionals to maximize the use of data and metrics to manage our projects successfully.
