On Thursday, August 17, Quasius hosted its third annual Safety Olympics. In this company-wide event, Quasius team members participated in safety-specific challenges and demonstrations presented by Quasius, 3M, Hilti, Sunbelt Rentals, Verona Safety, and Moldex. Eight teams competed for the trophy this year, where the reigning champions remained victorious and earned first place once again!
The friendly competition was followed by a cookout from Miesfeld’s Meat Market. At the banquet, the Safety Olympics Committee held a raffle of over 70 prizes thanks to generous sponsors. Featured raffles included a Lake Michigan fishing charter for six, a Milwaukee Tool Packout set, a three-piece Hilti toolkit, a Yeti cooler, and a selection of gift cards.
“It was great getting the entire company together for our third annual Safety Olympics,” said Safety Director Scott Quasius. “Any time you have the opportunity to mix team building along with valuable safety training, it makes for a good work event. The support we received from our suppliers, subcontractors, and clients is a testament to the relationships we build.”
The Safety Olympics is a testament to Quasius’ continued commitment in the construction industry to safety and training and affirms a legacy of dependability.
