Plymouth, WI-Quasius Construction has broken ground on Camp Anokijig’s new Centennial Lodge. The Centennial Lodge project celebrates almost a century for the beloved youth camp and will feature a three-story dining and event space, camp offices, and a medical center. Connecting to the existing Western Lodge, the Centennial Lodge expansion empowers Camp Anokijig with the room and resources to support their community’s promising future, inspiring lasting growth through an enduring and engaging environment.
“As we approach our hundredth season in just a couple of years, we are excited to be taking one of our first major steps at improving Anokijig to serve campers for the next century of its life,” said Darin Holden, Executive Director of Camp Anokijig. “The Centennial Lodge will help make Anokijig safer, healthier, and more efficient. In addition, its center floor multi-purpose space will open up many new opportunities to serve our local community year-round. Anokijig is a Native American word that means ‘we serve,’ and this project will help us live that motto and mission for thousands more people for years to come!”
Founded in 1926, Camp Anokijig continues the tradition of providing youth camps to deliver experiences that will last a lifetime. Camp Anokijig also offers Teen Leadership Programs, Adventure Trips, Family Programs, Outdoor Education for Schools, and Group Outings.
